Not a soliflore, despite the name. Litchi, bergamot and pink pepper give the opening a fizzy, fruity lift, and the rose that follows is Bulgarian, jammy and deep, with peony beside it and a pinch of nutmeg keeping it clear of sugar.

Musk, vanilla and cashmeran do the rest, smoothing the rose into something soft and faintly powdery that sits near the skin for hours. Jean-Louis Sieuzac composed it in 2021. It wears year round and suits anyone who likes rose without the antique associations.
