Terra

Terra is a full-blown spiced resin, and the note list is long because very little has been left out. Frankincense, cardamom, elemi, bergamot and pepper open it dry and smoky.

The heart is where the character lives: patchouli and anise with coriander, cumin and saffron, softened by orange blossom, geranium and rose. Then it turns sweet and dark on vanilla, benzoin, amber and labdanum, with oud, birch and ambroxan holding the smoke. A cold-weather scent, and a heavy one — two sprays is plenty.
