Carios

Carios came in 2025 as one of three openers for Les Extraits, the house's highest concentration tier.

Saffron is the lead, with mandarin, pink pepper and bergamot around it, and the saffron is dosed heavily enough to read almost leathery. Black pepper, geranium and red thyme make an unusually herbal middle for this house, and ambroxan, tonka bean, vetiver and cedarwood give it a dry, mineral finish rather than the sweet amber the range is known for. The most austere thing Parfums de Marly has released.
