Palatine For Women

Palatine, 2024, composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, is a violet worn over creamy woods — powdery at first and increasingly soft as it settles.

Mandarin, bergamot and pear open it with a fruity brightness. The heart is violet petal, lavandin and a floral bouquet, and it finishes on sandalwood, patchouli, musk and vanilla. The violet is the signature; the drydown is where it becomes comfortable rather than pretty.
