Athenais For Women

Athenais is Parfums de Marly's white-floral citrus, and one of the brighter things in a house better known for weight and sweetness.

Neroli, bergamot and yuzu open it clean and sharp, orange blossom and jasmine fill the middle without turning heady, and tonka bean, vanilla and ambroxan give it a soft, skin-like finish. Floral-amber in family, but it wears lighter than that suggests — the citrus stays legible well into the drydown.
