Lemon + Musk

Simple and very well behaved. Lemon and orange at the start, bergamot bridging the middle, then white musk, vanilla and amber taking over. That last stretch is most of the experience: laundered, faintly sweet, warm against the skin once the citrus burns off.

Around eight hours on skin per the brand, with the musk doing the heavy lifting. Wearable year round and about as inoffensive as a fragrance gets, which makes it a safe gift or a default for days you would rather not think about it.
