Hazelnut + Whipped Cream

This is a dessert, plainly. Hazelnut, pistachio gelato and sweet rum lead, then raspberry, white peach, pear and a thread of jasmine cut the richness before it gets cloying. The base is the point: whipped cream, marshmallow, cotton candy and cocoa, soft and edible-smelling all the way down.

Projection runs strong and the brand cites about eight hours on skin. Cold-weather territory, sweaters and evenings and close company. Spray sparingly the first time and judge from there.
