Beatrice Piquet's Rosamor, from 2004, is Oscar de la Renta at his most garden-like.

Freesia, Italian mandarin and lily-of-the-valley open it fresh and dewy. The heart is a full bouquet — rose, gardenia, Indian tuberose, ylang-ylang and heliotrope — with the tuberose giving it body. Musk, sandalwood, tonka bean and a thread of tobacco finish it, and that tobacco is what keeps the whole thing from reading merely pretty.
