Emaan

Emaan is built on a chypre floral frame, which is rarer in this house than the sweet gourmands. Orange blossom, black currant and bergamot give a tart, slightly green opening.

Tuberose and jasmine fill the heart with marigold adding a dry, faintly bitter herbal thread, and that bitterness is what makes the florals feel grown-up rather than pretty. Cedarwood and patchouli anchor the base, with musk and a thin line of vanilla smoothing the edges. Released in 2022, it wears well in spring and fall and holds up through a full day.
