Saffron and tangerine strike first, bright and a little metallic, with elemi adding a resinous edge.

Underneath, violet and orange blossom sit against tonka bean and cashmere wood, and the drydown turns frankly sweet: caramel and vanilla wrapped in patchouli, ambergris and musk. Published note lists vary slightly between sources, but the shape is consistent, a rich sugared amber that does its best work in cold weather and holds for hours on a coat or scarf.
