Devotion is Dolce & Gabbana's candied-citrus gourmand, and the note that carries it is candied lemon — bright and sugared at once, which is a harder trick than it sounds.

It opens sharp and sweet, moves through a creamy heart with orange blossom and a custard-like sweetness, and settles on vanilla and a soft musk. Rich, cheerful and very persistent for something that starts out this citrusy. Cold-weather wear, or evening in any season.
