Weekend For Men

Michel Almairac built Weekend for Men in 1997 around a wide citrus opening — lemon, grapefruit, mandarin and bergamot, with pineapple and melon giving it a fruit edge that most fresh scents of the era skipped.

The middle turns green and a little damp on ivy and oakmoss, softened by creamy sandalwood. Honey, musk and amber round off the base, which is where the sharpness goes and comfort takes over. Straightforward daytime wear, and it has not dated much.
