Yaar

Yaar is the comfortable one. Orchid and heliotrope give the opening a powdery softness, lifted just enough by tangerine and bergamot to stop it feeling heavy.

The heart is frankly gourmand — tropical fruit and a sweet accord folded around rose and coffee — and the base does the rest of the work: sandalwood, cedar and amberwood under tonka bean, musk and vanilla. Warm, rounded and easy to wear in cold weather, with none of the sharpness the opening might suggest.
